Power Platform Architect - AI

About the role

Sedgwick is hiring a Power Platform Architect focused on AI, working remotely from Florida. The role defines and executes the enterprise Power Platform strategy, builds solution architecture and governance, leads delivery of complex solutions and enables adoption by architects, developers, analysts, makers and citizen developers.

Key responsibilities

• Define the enterprise Power Platform strategy, roadmap and operating model, and turn business priorities into a delivery plan with measurable outcomes.
• Identify and prioritize high-value automation, low-code, data and AI opportunities, and advise senior leaders on platform capabilities, investments, risks and adoption.
• Define solution architecture, integration patterns, security standards, environment strategy and platform guardrails, and establish governance and Center of Excellence capabilities.
• Create reusable frameworks, components, standards and reference architectures aligned with enterprise architecture, data, privacy, security and compliance.
• Monitor platform health, technical debt, capacity, licensing and operational risks.
• Lead solutions from intake and design through build, testing, deployment, adoption and support transition, managing dependencies and removing blockers.
• Mentor architects, developers, analysts, makers and citizen developers, partner with business teams to improve adoption and stay current on Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365, Azure and AI capabilities.
• Travel to client sites as required and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent education, certifications and experience considered.
• 12+ years in software engineering, application delivery, solution architecture or enterprise technology leadership.
• 7+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale Power Platform programs, governance, platform architecture or Center of Excellence capabilities.
• Experience with Copilot Studio, AI agents, generative AI and intelligent automation, and with building or leading a Power Platform Center of Excellence or citizen development program.
• Microsoft Power Platform solution architect or developer certification.
• Ability to work independently in a remote U.S. environment and lead across distributed teams.

Required skills

• Establishing architecture standards, governance models, security controls, environment strategies and application lifecycle management.
• Integrating Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure services, APIs, data platforms and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Azure integration, identity, security, DevOps and enterprise data services.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication, able to influence senior leaders and explain technical decisions in business terms.
