Power BI Publisher / Power BI Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Publisher/Developer to lead the migration of legacy IBM Cognos reports to Microsoft Power BI and to enhance our enterprise reporting ecosystem. The role involves designing, building, and supporting high‑quality dashboards and analytics solutions for a large‑scale modernization initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of IBM Cognos reports to Power BI, creating equivalent or improved dashboards.
• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations.
• Ensure all solutions follow development standards, data‑governance policies, and accessibility requirements.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancements for existing reports.
• Create consolidated Power BI usage analytics to inform organizational reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Participate in workspace architecture, security design, deployment processes, version control, and documentation.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives for BI platforms.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Power BI development and administration.
• Extensive hands‑on experience designing dashboards, reports, graphs, crosstabs, scorecards, metrics, filters and prompts.
• Advanced expertise with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Proven experience migrating reports from IBM Cognos to Power BI.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
