Postdoctoral Research Associate – Complex Network Research

About the role

The Barabási Lab at Northeastern University is seeking Postdoctoral Research Associates to advance network science research across nutrition, biological networks, machine learning, and the science of art and science. The role involves collaborative projects that may include partners such as Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with initiating, executing, and completing clinical research and experiments.
• Prepare and write research papers, presentations, grant proposals, and other scientific communications.
• Support laboratory management and train graduate students.

Required profile

• PhD in nutrition, bioinformatics, physics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field.
• Motivated individuals with a strong interest in applying network science to food, art, science, and medicine.
• Experience in network science/bioinformatics and machine learning/AI/deep learning.
