About the role

The University of Miami’s Diabetes Research Institute is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to conduct independent scientific research under the guidance of senior staff. This full‑time position supports cutting‑edge investigations into diabetes and related metabolic disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments in assigned research areas.
• Prepare research reports, manuscripts, and technical papers for peer‑reviewed publication.
• Evaluate the feasibility of applying diverse scientific principles and theories to project goals.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of state‑of‑the‑art methodologies and technologies.

Required profile

• Doctorate (MD or PhD) in Medicine, biomedical sciences, or a related field.
• No prior postdoctoral experience required.

• Demonstrated learning agility, teamwork, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
