About the role
The University of Miami is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to join the CRANE Lab within the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The role focuses on cancer survivorship research, integrating lifestyle medicine approaches such as diet and exercise.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct independent research on assigned cancer survivorship topics.
- Prepare research reports and submit technical papers for peer‑reviewed publication.
- Evaluate the feasibility of applying scientific principles and develop analytical models to support strategic decisions.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of state‑of‑the‑art theories and methodologies.
- Adhere to university policies and safeguard institutional assets.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Digital Health, Lifestyle Medicine or a related field.
- At least two years of research experience in lifestyle medicine for cancer or chronic disease.
- Two years of experience supervising and mentoring graduate students.
- Minimum of one first‑author manuscript in a relevant peer‑reviewed journal.
- Familiarity with cancer survivorship is preferred; bilingual ability in English and Spanish or Haitian Creole is a plus.
