Post-Residential Coordinator – Job Challenge Ft. Stewart

About the role

The Georgia Job Challenge Academy seeks a Post‑Residential Coordinator to support recent graduates of the Georgia Youth Challenge Program. Working on the Ft. Stewart campus, you will help deliver a five‑month residential program that blends vocational training, academic support, and life‑skill development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct training sessions for individuals and groups, following lesson plans that cover resume writing, job applications, and other employment‑related skills.
• Serve as a mentor‑mentee liaison, preparing passes, handling correspondence, and producing monthly reports.
• Enter and maintain participant data in the program database.
• Implement Youth Challenge Cooperative Agreement procedures and promote mentor‑mentee relationships.
• Participate in team improvement plans and extracurricular activities as needed.
• Lead student recruitment, selection, placement, and progress tracking.
• Research and collaborate with business partners to create community service and career opportunities for participants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant experience working with youth or in program coordination.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
