Portfolio Analyst

About the role

The Portfolio Analyst will support Invesco’s fixed‑income teams by analysing portfolio performance, attribution, and risk metrics across ETFs, retail, and institutional mandates. You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret performance attribution results for global fixed‑income portfolios.
• Evaluate portfolio, benchmark, and risk characteristics to identify key performance drivers.
• Develop expertise in attribution methodologies, risk models, and fixed‑income strategies.
• Partner with portfolio managers and traders to address analytical needs.
• Produce analytics and reporting on holdings, sector/country exposure, and valuation metrics.
• Assist in designing and implementing enhanced analytics and attribution tools.
• Support ad‑hoc quantitative analysis and investment‑related requests.
• Maintain and improve portfolio analytics platforms and reporting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Demonstrated interest or experience in portfolio analytics, performance measurement, or investment research.
• Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts across all organizational levels.
