Porter (Part‑time) at The Axis Apartments

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Porter to join the team at The Axis Apartments, a property managed by Bader in the Twin Cities. This part‑time position involves maintaining the building’s appearance, assisting residents, and supporting overall property operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, efficient customer service to residents and handle inquiries or issues promptly.
• Deliver notices, report unusual circumstances, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing and OSHA standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, grounds, and assigned building sections.
• Assist with building maintenance tasks, coordinate with cleaning and other vendors, and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Prepare vacant units for new occupancy, including touch‑ups and staging.
• Move heavy equipment such as dumpsters and appliances safely.
• Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring proper care and documentation.
• Complete required training, attend staff meetings, and follow company policies.

Required profile

• Professional demeanor with strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work safely and follow OSHA and Fair Housing regulations.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and lift heavy items.
• Reliability and punctuality for a 15‑20 hour weekly schedule, Monday‑Friday.
