About the role
The City of Rockport is seeking dedicated, courageous individuals to join its police force and protect the community. Officers will enforce laws, ensure public safety, and engage with residents to build trust.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol residential and commercial areas, respond to calls and deter criminal activity.
- Enforce traffic laws, investigate accidents and promote road safety.
- Conduct preliminary investigations, gather evidence, interview witnesses and prepare reports.
- Engage with community members, businesses and organizations to foster collaboration.
- Respond to critical incidents, provide backup and assist other emergency services.
Required profile
