Poison Control Specialist

About the role

The Poison Control Specialist will join the Poison Control & Drug Information department at UAMS, providing clinical support for poison exposure inquiries and drug information requests. This is a temporary fixed‑term position for qualified clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to poison exposure calls and provide evidence‑based guidance.
• Supply accurate drug information to healthcare professionals.
• Document cases and outcomes in the poison control database.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety.

Required profile

• Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Relevant clinical qualifications for a poison control role.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
