PMO Manager – Business Modernization Program

About the role

The Modernization PMO Manager will lead the Program Management Office for Moog’s large‑scale ERP modernization effort. Reporting to the GVP – Finance and based onsite in Buffalo, NY, you will ensure disciplined execution, transparent reporting, and effective governance across all workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and operate the Modernization program PMO, defining governance structures, standards, tools, and delivery cadence.
• Develop and maintain program‑level integrated planning, including master schedule, milestones, critical path and cross‑workstream dependencies.
• Support the Steering Committee and executive forums with structured agendas, decision tracking and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with the ERP Program Finance Manager to align scope, schedule, resources and financial plans, providing scenario analysis and cost‑to‑complete estimates.
• Lead risk, issue and change governance, facilitating mitigation planning and escalation to senior leadership.
• Produce executive‑ready dashboards and status reports that highlight delivery health, financial performance and readiness for key milestones.

Required profile

• Proven experience establishing and running a PMO for large, complex ERP or technology transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of program financial management, integrated planning and risk governance.
• Ability to work closely with senior business, IT and change management leaders and to influence executive decision‑making.
• Excellent communication skills for preparing executive‑level reporting and steering committee materials.
