Plant Operator – Sabine River Operations

About the role

Dow is seeking a dedicated Operator for its Sabine River Operations (SRO) in Orange, Texas. You will join the Energy and Environmental Operations Department, working on a rotating 12‑hour shift to ensure safe, reliable, and optimal plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Operating Discipline policies and procedures to maintain safe and efficient plant operation.
• Monitor process equipment, control systems, and key performance metrics, making decisions to meet production goals.
• Identify and implement improvements using facility improvement and management‑of‑change processes.
• Mentor and train new and existing personnel on process operation, troubleshooting, and emergency response.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled operational tasks, including severe weather response activities.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of operations experience in a chemical manufacturing environment, or 3 years of relevant military experience.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour rotating shifts, overtime, holidays and weekends as needed.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
