Pipeline Development & Research Analyst II

About the role

The Analyst II, Pipeline Development and Research will conduct high‑value donor prospect research, combine traditional methods with emerging AI tools, and develop predictive models that place donors into fundraising pipelines. This role supports the organization’s mission by identifying and qualifying high‑potential individual and institutional donors and by enhancing data‑driven prospecting capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct proactive research to identify, qualify, and prioritize high‑value donor prospects aligned with fundraising goals.
• Prepare and deliver prospect intelligence, including donor profiles, capacity and affinity assessments, and relationship insights.
• Lead the development and enhancement of internal agentic AI solutions for prospecting, incorporating data from internal graph databases and near‑real‑time external sources.
• Assess and support adoption of AI tools, both internally developed and vendor‑provided, to strengthen research and analytical capabilities.
• Design, build, and maintain machine‑learning predictive models that optimize donor placement in pipelines and programs.
• Coordinate with Data and Platform Systems teams to ensure model performance, regular updates, and near‑real‑time availability of results.
