Physician Support Informaticist 3 – Central

About the role

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Information Technology is seeking a full‑time Physician Support Informaticist 3 to provide on‑site training, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization for Epic UChart applications across all service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑on‑one post‑classroom training on Epic UChart modules to physicians and providers.
• Identify and document provider issues through regular rounding in ambulatory and clinic settings.
• Coordinate issue resolution with UHIT teams, track tickets, and communicate solutions.
• Support go‑live activities at UMHC satellite locations, including Plantation and Palm Beach Gardens.
• Analyze new Epic releases, assess workflow impact, and prioritize system enhancements.
• Collaborate with trainers to develop documentation and training strategies for new features.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and maintain regular communication with project teams.

Required profile

• Experience working with clinical information systems, preferably Epic UChart.
• Strong ability to engage with physicians, understand workflow challenges, and propose improvements.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
