Physician - Rheumatology (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Rheumatologist to join Ochsner Health’s Baton Rouge department on a full‑time basis. The role focuses on outpatient clinical care for patients with musculoskeletal, rheumatic and systemic autoimmune diseases across multiple clinics, with opportunities for teaching and research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient assessment, diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Participate in a weekly outpatient call rotation shared among physicians.
• Collaborate with multi‑specialty locations offering on‑site infusion, lab and radiology services.

Required profile

• Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible in Rheumatology.
• Commitment to work within an integrated health‑system environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the EPIC electronic medical record system.
