Physician Relations Liaison

About the role

The Physician Relations Liaison will serve as a bridge between community physicians and UAMS service lines, driving growth of hospital and specialty services through relationship building and sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with physicians, identifying needs and presenting UAMS service‑line solutions.
• Track and report monthly, quarterly and annual growth metrics, providing regular updates to leadership.
• Conduct routine sales calls and visits, coordinate internal sales activities, and maintain detailed encounter records in an account‑management platform.
• Research physician practices, create profiles, and collaborate with service‑line directors to align outreach strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and at least three years of sales experience, preferably in physician recruitment, medical or pharmaceutical sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, analytical and conflict‑management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and navigate politically sensitive situations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce, ACT or similar account‑management tools.
• Knowledge of sales call structure and familiarity with Stark, anti‑trust and kickback regulations.
