Physical Therapy Assistant – Senior Living Visits

About the role

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health visits for adult and geriatric patients in senior living facilities across Montgomery County, Maryland. The role involves traveling to locations such as Chevy Chase, Potomac, and Rockville.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients in achieving optimal physical well‑being by delivering treatments, conducting tests, and providing education as delegated by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Travel to senior living facilities to perform on‑site visits and document patient progress.

Required profile

• Current Maryland licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduated from an APTA‑approved two‑year program or equivalent experience with a satisfactory proficiency exam.
• At least one year of work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.

Required skills

• Physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques.
• Client education and documentation.
