Physical Therapy Assistant – Kids First Clinic (Magnolia)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a contracted Physical Therapy Assistant to join the interdisciplinary team at the Kids First clinic in Magnolia. The position focuses on delivering evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to children from birth to five years old who present with a range of gross‑motor delays and disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on physical therapy services to the birth‑to‑5 patient population.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Apply current, evidence‑based best‑practice techniques for pediatric gross‑motor rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Ensure compliance with infection‑control policies, including Covid‑19 vaccination requirements or approved exemptions.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work on‑site at the Magnolia clinic.
