Physical Therapy Aide

About the role

Ivy Rehab is looking for Physical Therapy Aides to join its clinic team in Long Island City, New York. The aides help keep the clinic safe and clean for patients and support the front office team with tasks such as answering phones, collecting copays, checking patients in and communicating with patients and their families. The clinic offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and applied behavior analysis (ABA) services.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while keeping a positive attitude
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and bedside manner
• Strong time management and ability to multi-task
• Proven customer service and patient care experience
• Self-motivated, with flexibility to work varied shifts and possible weekends
• Openness to students in exercise science, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy or anyone interested in healthcare
