Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of new patients, set goals, and develop treatment plans.
• Progress patients through treatment levels within their capabilities.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and all patient interactions accurately.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and therapy.
• Maintain effective communication with the rehabilitation team and physicians.
• Participate in quality and safety improvement initiatives.
• Supervise, instruct, and direct assistants, support staff, and physical therapy students.
• Represent the university at conferences and seminars.
• Adhere to university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of relevant physical therapy experience.
• Valid State of Florida Physical Therapist license.
• Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
