About the role

The State of Georgia, through West Georgia Technical College, seeks a Pharmacy Technology Adjunct Instructor to join its faculty. This part‑time position involves teaching credit courses, supporting student success, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in curriculum development for pharmacy technology programs.
• Deliver instruction in theory and practical applications in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.
• Evaluate student progress through face‑to‑face, online, or hybrid formats and grade coursework promptly.
• Provide student support, advising, and maintain weekly office hours.
• Participate in department committees, professional development activities, and maintain program accreditation requirements.
• Prepare and maintain required documentation, lesson plans, and administrative reports.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in pharmacy technology or a related healthcare field.
• Ability to develop and deliver curriculum that meets academic state standards.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and educators.
