Pharmacy Technician 2 – Full‑time Position

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Pharmacy Technician 2 to join its pharmacy team. In this full‑time, onsite role you will prepare medications, support pharmacists, and contribute to safe medication dispensing for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, input, and verify prescription and patient information while maintaining accurate records.
• Assist pharmacists in filling orders, preparing labels, and compounding basic formulations.
• Receive, stock, and manage incoming medical supplies and drugs.
• Participate in training programs, continuing education, and cross‑training opportunities.
• Mentor less‑experienced technicians and support onboarding of new staff and students.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum one year of pharmacy‑related experience.
• Valid State of Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
• Strong learning agility, teamwork, and communication abilities.
