Pharmacy Technician 2 – Full-Time at UHealth Campus

About the role

The Pharmacy Technician 2 prepares medications for patients under the guidance of a pharmacist and supports daily pharmacy operations on the UHealth campus. This full‑time position involves dispensing prescriptions, basic compounding, inventory management, and assisting with patient record verification.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient information while maintaining accurate records.
• Assist pharmacists in filling orders, preparing labels for unit doses and pre‑packaged pharmaceuticals.
• Receive, stock, and organize incoming medical supplies and drugs.
• Perform basic compounding tasks and support didactic compounding activities.
• Participate in training programs, continuing education, and cross‑training assignments.
• Volunteer for extra assignments, temporary task forces, or short‑term committees.
• Serve as an informal resource, mentor, and role model for less‑experienced technicians and students.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Florida Pharmacy Technician registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant pharmacy technician experience.
