About the role

The Pharmacy Manager leads the daily operations of a Walgreens pharmacy, delivering compassionate medication counseling and clinical services while ensuring regulatory compliance and a superior patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee compounding, dispensing, review, and verification of prescriptions in line with regulations and company policies.
• Manage workflow efficiency, inventory control, and financial performance of the pharmacy.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate pharmacy staff, fostering engagement and professional development.
• Provide patient-facing services such as immunizations, diagnostic testing, medication therapy reviews, and health consultations.
• Handle cash management, register counts, banking activities, and bookkeeping responsibilities.
• Implement merchandising strategies, set displays, and promote health services to shift the pharmacy role from transactional to relational.
• Address patient inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Participate in community events as directed by supervisors.

Required profile

• Licensed pharmacist with experience managing a retail pharmacy.
• Proven leadership and team‑building abilities.
