Pharmacy Contract Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Contract Manager to lead end‑to‑end contract management with large PBMs and discount card partners. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can navigate complex agreements while building strong cross‑functional relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end contract management, from strategy through execution and ongoing oversight.
• Negotiate complex agreements with large PBMs and discount card partners.
• Redline and interpret contract language with precision.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Apply deep understanding of third‑party payor terms, processes, and pricing strategies.
• Manage accounts and maintain strong external partner relationships.
• Drive project management activities to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a team‑oriented mindset.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience working with large PBMs and knowledge of discount card pricing strategy.
• Proven experience in contract negotiation, redlining, and end‑to‑end contract management.
• Strong understanding of third‑party payor terms, language, and claims processes.
• Experience collaborating with Legal and Finance teams.
• Strong account management and project management capabilities.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and follow‑through.
• Experience with 3rd party claims in pharmacy preferred.
• Pharmacy tech experience is a plus.
