Pharmacist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

About the role

Encompass Health is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join its inpatient rehabilitation team. You will play a critical role in ensuring safe medication use and supporting patient recovery across our national network of facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet patient and customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain pharmacy‑specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary rounds, providing medication expertise to improve patient outcomes.
• Interpret, compound, and dispense medications accurately according to legal and professional standards.

Required profile

• Current licensure with the state pharmacy board where the hospital is located, in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.
