Healthcare Integration Support Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Healthcare Integration Support Engineer to provide centralized technical assistance for a large federal government healthcare modernization project. This 100% remote position supports healthcare facilities, vendors, developers, and integration partners across a range of interoperability services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot integration, connectivity, configuration, onboarding, and data‑exchange issues for EHR, HIE, FHIR, API, and interface services.
• Collaborate with engineering, onboarding, testing, and platform teams to identify root causes, coordinate resolutions, and validate fixes.
• Maintain technical knowledge base, troubleshooting procedures, support documentation, and known‑issue records.
• Document defects, configuration changes, and recurring issues to support continuous improvement and user adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience providing technical support in complex software or healthcare technology environments.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Government/Public Trust clearance.

Required skills

• Experience with EHR, HIE, FHIR, APIs, and interface engines.
• Root‑cause analysis, connectivity troubleshooting, configuration support, defect resolution, and validation testing.
• Knowledge‑base management and technical documentation.
