Personal Care Aide (Caregiver)

About the role

As a Personal Care Aide with Elara Caring, you will provide compassionate, client‑centered support in the comfort of clients' homes. Your daily work helps improve quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and manage household chores including laundry.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage social interaction.
• Run errands, shop for groceries, and transport clients to appointments when needed.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for each client.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience caring for elderly or disabled individuals (professional or personal) is a plus.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes.
• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and assist clients up to 50 lb.
