About the role
The University of Miami Hospital is seeking a Per‑diem Registered Nurse to join the Step Down Respiratory unit. You will provide patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent environment, applying evidence‑based standards of quality, safety, and service.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient‑family focused nursing care on the Step Down Respiratory floor.
- Apply evidence‑based practices to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Provide population‑specific care tailored to the respiratory needs of patients.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN holders have 2 years to obtain BSN).
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum one (1) year of acute‑care respiratory nursing experience.
