About the role
The University of Miami Hospital Progressive Care Department seeks a Per‑diem Registered Nurse to provide patient‑family centered care in a culturally competent, evidence‑based environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality, safety‑focused nursing care to progressive care patients.
- Apply evidence‑based standards and population‑specific interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred (ASN graduates have 2 years to complete BSN).
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of one year acute‑care nursing experience.
