Peoplesoft Application Developer

About the role

CACI is modernizing its Human Capital Management offering for federal customers by replacing a 20+ year old legacy system, reducing interdependent systems and adding user self-service. As a PeopleSoft HRMS Application Developer, you will work on this multi-year program using the latest PeopleSoft capabilities, with discussions underway to add digital chatbots. The position is full time, regular, onsite in Chantilly, Virginia, and requires a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical solution design, development, deployment/cutover and implementation across the PeopleSoft implementation lifecycle.
• Translate business challenges into process and technical solutions, working with Requirements Analysts on user stories and features each sprint.
• Analyze vendor updates and upgrades, and suggest approaches that minimize product customizations.
• Provide production support by designing, programming and testing solutions to complex production problems.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases, correct data in critical situations, and work with the Product Owner.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field; experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
• Five years of experience in information systems implementation, change management or application redesign.
• Three years of technical development with PeopleSoft HRMS ERP, including recent experience with PeopleSoft 9.x.
• Five years developing, prototyping and testing information systems solutions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Desired: project leadership experience, subject-matter expertise, design and process documentation, unit testing, customer domain experience, and certified PeopleSoft training.

• Oracle and SQL commands
• Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology
