People & Culture Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a People & Culture Generalist to support core HR functions across the employee lifecycle in a fast‑growing startup environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve onboarding, coordinating systems, documentation, equipment, schedules and internal partners.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes including background checks, eligibility verification, promotions, transfers and off‑boarding.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, conduct regular audits and build reliable reporting mechanisms.
• Administer employee benefits, handle enrollments, qualifying life events, terminations and support annual open enrollment.
• Support employee leave processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions about benefits, policies, leaves and HR processes.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years progressive, broad‑based experience in HR or People Operations covering multiple lifecycle stages.
• Hands‑on experience with onboarding, HRIS administration, benefits, leaves, compliance and performance processes.
• Exceptional organization, detail‑orientation and ability to create structure where none exists.
• Comfort with ambiguous situations, proactive problem‑solving and ability to improve processes.

Required skills

• Experience with Rippling HR platform.
• Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and workplace automation tools.
