People & Culture Coordinator

About the role

Join the People & Culture team at a prestigious five‑star hotel in Chicago. As a People & Culture Coordinator you will support HR operations, onboarding and employee engagement to help the property achieve its objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team.
• Coordinate new‑hire onboarding, including HRIS setup, employee files and I‑9 verification.
• Ensure data integrity through accurate data entry, document auditing and distribution.
• Serve as primary point of contact for employee inquiries, guiding them on policies, programs and procedures.
• Generate and analyse HR reports such as headcount, turnover and compliance tracking.
• Coordinate associate event functions and maintain records of anniversaries and birthdays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism on the phone.
• Strong communication skills with all staff members.
• Outgoing, friendly, detail‑oriented and proficient in spoken and written English.
