PEGA Systems Architect

About the role

We are seeking an experienced PEGA Systems Architect to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida on a contract basis. The role involves shaping the department’s overall systems architecture and ensuring technology solutions align with enterprise goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level expertise on decisions and priorities for the department’s systems architecture.
• Establish and implement standards and guidelines for designing multi‑platform technology solutions.
• Review, advise, and design standard software and hardware builds, evaluating risks, costs, and benefits.
• Develop and document frameworks for integration and technical‑standard changes.
• Assist in creating and managing an architecture governance process.
• Offer technical guidance to project teams as needed.
• Support systems analysis and design, understanding development, QA, and integration methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience in infrastructure/systems planning, architecture design, and engineering.
• Proven senior‑level experience shaping overall systems architecture and establishing standards.
• Strong background in reviewing and designing software/hardware builds and assessing risks and benefits.
• Experience developing integration frameworks and managing architecture governance.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
