Pediatric Mental Health Therapist (1099 Contractor)

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates is looking for independent, licensed clinical therapists to join its provider network, working with Lyra Health, a provider of evidence-based mental health care. The role suits therapists who want to provide culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, teens and their families, with well-matched and motivated pediatric clients. It is a 1099 contractor position.

Required profile

• Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g. MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC)
• Unrestricted LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC or equivalent license, able to work independently without supervision, with no current, past or pending disciplinary action
• Experience providing culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, teens and their families
• Able to meet clients who are primarily or exclusively available in the evenings or on Saturdays
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Required skills

• Evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PMT and EMDR, and clinical best practices like measurement-based care
• Collaborative care coordination with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers and wellness coaches
• Engaging families in treatment and adapting approaches to family dynamics
• Accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans and session notes
• Telehealth practice via video, keeping member confidentiality and security
