PC/Network Support Specialist

About the role

Jackson Technical is seeking experienced PC/Network Support Specialists to provide on‑site, remote, and telephone assistance to customers. The role involves configuring and troubleshooting PCs, servers, and network devices while advising clients on technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Answer support calls, troubleshoot servers, workstations, printers, switches, routers, and related hardware.
• Perform LAN maintenance, server administration, new user setup, backups, and software upgrades.
• Install, configure, and support managed switches, routers, firewalls, backup systems, and storage devices.
• Provide Exchange Server and Office 365 support, including migrations of Windows OS, Exchange, and SQL Server.
• Travel to customer locations and work remotely as needed, documenting work performed and updating service requests.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in information technology.
• Excellent communication and time‑management skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation for customer site visits.

Required skills

• PC and server configuration, OS maintenance, hardware repair, and software installation.
• LAN networking, managed switches, routers, firewalls, and backup systems.
• Exchange Server, Office 365, Windows OS migration, and SQL Server migration.
• Remote Monitoring & Management tools.
• Microsoft certifications (preferred) and Cisco knowledge (a plus).
