Patient Support Nurse

About the role

Valeris is seeking a Patient Support Nurse to guide patients through their therapy journey. Working entirely by phone or virtual channels, you will provide education, coordination, and psychosocial support to ensure patients receive and adhere to their prescribed treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver medication and disease‑state education to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to discuss insurance coverage, financial assistance, and therapy administration.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date patient records in a digital CRM system.
• Coordinate financial resources and secure options for patients with financial need.
• Escalate complex cases according to program policies and document adverse events or safety complaints.
• Support healthcare provider offices with prescription‑related questions.
• Participate in program‑specific meetings, trainings, and customer sessions.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse or equivalent clinical background.
• Strong verbal communication skills for 100% telephonic interactions.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with patients, caregivers, and providers.
• Knowledge of insurance reimbursement processes and patient assistance programs.
• Attention to detail and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Required skills

• Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
