About the role

The Patient Services Liaison for the Surgical Specialties Service Line supports patients undergoing surgical procedures by acting as the primary point of contact between patients, families, and clinical teams. This full‑time, day‑shift position is based on the UAMS campus in Little Rock.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the liaison between patients and the Surgical Specialties Service Line.
• Coordinate patient services, ensuring smooth admission, scheduling, and discharge processes.
• Facilitate clear communication among patients, families, and multidisciplinary clinical staff.
• Provide information and assistance to patients throughout their surgical experience.

Required profile

• Current University of Arkansas System employee, student employee, or graduate assistant.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
• Ability to work the designated day shift.
