Patient Access Supervisor – Home Infusion Services

About the role

The Intake (Patient Access) Supervisor oversees the intake and clinical coordination of home infusion services for new patients. This position acts as a liaison between patients, pharmacists, billing, and external health agencies to ensure smooth, high‑quality care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Process referrals and intake information, creating and maintaining accurate patient records.
• Coordinate with pharmacists, billing, procurement and nursing staff to verify insurance, arrange deliveries, and schedule services.
• Communicate with home health agencies, hospitals and doctors to facilitate referrals and follow‑up.
• Monitor employee timesheets, conduct performance evaluations, and participate in quality‑improvement programs.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with a focus on accurate record‑keeping.
• Ability to make efficient decisions with minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication, capable of translating technical issues into lay terms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Competence in word processing, spreadsheet creation and email communication.
