Patient Access Representative 3 – Full‑Time

About the role

The Patient Access Representative 3 provides essential registration and financial clearance services for scheduled patients, ensuring accurate reimbursement and smooth patient flow within UHealth.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain, confirm, and enter demographic, financial, and clinical information for patient accounts.
• Verify insurance eligibility and notify patients and referring physicians of any issues.
• Obtain authorizations, pre‑certifications, and referrals as required.
• Notify patients of liabilities prior to service and collect payments.
• Collaborate with scheduling departments to identify add‑on patients and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in patient access or a related field.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles.
• Ability to process confidential information with discretion.
• Strong independent and collaborative work capabilities.
