Patient Access Representative 2 – Full Time

About the role

The University of Miami Health System is seeking a Patient Access Representative 2 to join the front‑desk team at the UHealth Tower. In this on‑site position you will register patients for clinical services, verify insurance, explain documents and collect payments while delivering a welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors, direct them to the appropriate location, and maintain a tidy reception area.
• Answer and place calls promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
• Respond to general inquiries and forward non‑routine requests to the appropriate staff.
• Perform administrative tasks such as sorting mail, handling faxes, and troubleshooting office equipment.
• Maintain department directories, visitation logs, and order supplies as needed.
• Adhere to university policies, safeguard assets, and handle confidential information with discretion.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in a customer‑facing or administrative role.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to process information accurately.

Required skills

• Data entry with minimal errors.
