Patient Access Representative 1 (On-Site)

About the role

The Patient Access Representative 1 (On‑Site) is responsible for registering patients for clinical services, verifying insurance, and collecting payments while ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to discharge.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full patient registration, verify insurance benefits, and collect required documentation such as insurance cards and IDs.
• Explain Consent for Treatment, Financial Liability, and HIPAA forms and obtain patient signatures.
• Schedule, modify, and cancel appointments, accurately record no‑shows, and manage patient flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries, triage calls, and provide information or transfer as needed.
• Reconcile vouchers and cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Utilize multiple clinical and administrative systems (EPIC MyChart, Grand Central ADT, Cadence, Prelude, Radiant, OP Time, Care Everywhere, Resolute, Nice inContact, Aria Oncology) to support patient services.
