Passenger Services Representative

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Passenger Services Representative who contributes to and generally supports its SafeUp program and handles all USAP passengers. The role covers manifesting, coordinating, reporting and transporting passengers, and includes operating passenger vans and performing clerical duties.

Key responsibilities

• Manifest, coordinate, report and transport all USAP passengers using personnel tracking software
• Coordinate commercial airline and accommodation requests for redeploying USAP personnel
• Send accurate and timely Advanced Passenger Advisory and Departure Message e-mails for intercontinental and intracontinental flights via the USAP listserv
• Perform passenger check-ins and give the load planner passenger summaries
• Update the flight information channel, flight editor, flight board and station intranet
• Operate 10-15 passenger vans safely and generate, post and update bag drag and transport manifests
• Handle confidential matters in line with ASC policy and perform clerical duties such as typing, word processing, answering phones and filing

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED
• At least two years of customer service and/or administrative experience
• Willingness and ability to deploy to Antarctica for extended periods, with medical, dental, drug screening, background checks and federal background checks completed
• Valid US driver's license; US citizenship required for facility credentials at this location
• Ability to lift and move items, climb in and out of equipment, crawl and work outdoors in extreme cold
• Participation in community programs such as housekeeping, cleaning and recycling efforts

• Preferred: previous travel services experience
