Passenger Services Agent – Airport Customer Service

About the role

As a Passenger Services Agent you will deliver front‑line customer service at the airport, handling reservations, ticketing, baggage and travel information for airline passengers. You will ensure smooth boarding and deplaning, support lost‑and‑found inquiries and process air‑freight shipments while maintaining security compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Make reservations, issue tickets and itineraries, and compute fares for passengers.
• Handle baggage check‑in, collect excess baggage charges and provide travel information.
• Assist passengers at boarding gates, verify ticket validity and process boarding procedures.
• Process lost‑and‑found items, trace and return items to passengers.
• Receive and process air‑freight shipments, calculate rates and prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Maintain inventory records for air‑freight and ensure compliance with site security protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer‑service experience.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays and nights.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and handle baggage up to 50 lb (occasionally 75 lb).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ticketing and reservation systems.
• Basic computer and data‑entry skills.
• Knowledge of air‑freight documentation and routing procedures.
