Part‑Time Teller (Fairhaven, MA)

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly, detail‑oriented Part‑Time Teller to join its Fairhaven branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them with everyday banking transactions while delivering a high level of service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times, and assist with deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions.
• Handle cash accurately and maintain balanced cash drawers.
• Follow all bank policies, compliance, and risk‑management procedures to prevent fraud.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools and promote their use.
• Support branch audits, custodial duties, and occasional tasks for nearby locations.
• Keep the work area clean and welcoming.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong listening, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
