Part‑Time Teller – Customer Service & Cash Handling

About the role

Santander is seeking a part‑time teller to join its Boyertown branch. In this customer‑focused position you will handle daily cash transactions, provide banking assistance, and promote digital self‑service options while ensuring a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Deliver prompt, courteous service, minimize wait times and address customer inquiries.
• Identify and refer opportunities to cross‑sell bank products.
• Follow all compliance, risk‑management and fraud‑prevention procedures.
• Support branch operations such as audits, custodial tasks and occasional assistance to nearby locations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Effective communication and listening skills.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Fundamental math skills.
