Part‑time RN – Emergency Department (ED)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Twinsburg Family Health & Surgery Center is seeking a part‑time Registered Nurse for its 24‑hour Emergency Department. This position works evening shifts and provides direct nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, implement and monitor patient care plans, and document patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to nursing protocols, and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure culturally appropriate communication.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of acute‑care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – to be completed within 24 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year of hire.
