Part‑Time Project Manager – Digital Platforms

About the role

The New York City Police Department’s Information Technology Bureau is seeking a part‑time Project Manager to lead the implementation of new digital platforms, software tools, and technology rollouts. You will work closely with IT teams, department heads, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and adoption across the agency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional projects for digital platform and software deployments.
• Create detailed project plans covering timelines, resources, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with IT, department leaders, and vendors to ensure smooth integration.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and adjust plans to meet deadlines.
• Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify adoption barriers.
• Facilitate change‑management activities, including communication and user‑buy‑in strategies.
• Develop and deliver training curricula, e‑learning modules, guides, and workshops for technologies such as Microsoft 365.
• Assess training effectiveness through evaluations and performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, data‑security standards, and accessibility regulations.
