About the role

ROOST Detroit, an apartment‑style boutique hotel located in the historic Book Tower, is looking for a part‑time Front Desk Concierge. The role serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a safe, comfortable and seamless stay.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Manage check‑ins, check‑outs and reservation inquiries.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, questions and concerns.
  • Monitor building access and maintain a secure, calm environment.
  • Conduct property walkthroughs and report maintenance or safety issues.
  • Handle phone calls, emails and guest communications.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs and daily reports.
  • Support light administrative tasks and prepare materials for the team.
  • Keep lobby and front desk areas clean, organized and guest‑ready.

Required profile

  • Strong customer‑service orientation.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
