Part‑Time Clinical Nursing Faculty – Complex Adult Critical Care

About the role

Chamberlain College of Nursing is seeking a part‑time Clinical Nursing Faculty to teach the Complex Adult Health – Critical Care course for its online BSN program. The faculty member will mentor students in an inpatient setting, linking classroom learning and simulation to real‑world patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise clinical experiences for nursing students, providing direct evaluation and feedback.
• Develop and post written clinical assignments tailored to students' knowledge and skill levels.
• Maintain current knowledge of agency policies and serve as a liaison between the college and clinical sites.
• Document student performance, remediate as needed, and contribute to program development.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution.
• Unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association, Red Cross, or Military).
• At least two years of recent professional nursing experience, preferably in critical care.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in adult critical care.
• Proficiency with comprehensive patient assessment and advanced nursing procedures.
• Ability to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
